Candace Lesniewski, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

I’m an occupational therapist with a deep love for empowering others to thrive in their daily lives. I began my journey in Baltimore, Maryland, and earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at West Virginia University. I later received my OT degree from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas. My career has led me through a wide variety of settings — outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, inpatient, acute care, pediatric and adult home health, and serving as a rehab director.

For me, being an OT is about more than just therapy — it’s about connection, creativity, and helping people do the things that matter most to them. On my down time, I enjoy all the hiking trails, scenic drives, and time outdoors with my dogs. I recently moved to New Mexico in early 2024 so I am still learning all the wonderful things to do and places to see that this part of the country has to offer. I also love to travel, especially to any coast as I am a beach bum at heart.
